The SkyWatcher StarQuest 130/650 Newtonian is the ideal choice for those looking for a good quality, portable deep-sky observing telescope, even if you're a beginner. The 13 cm optics are large enough and of high quality to show the brightest galaxies, star clusters and surface details of planets and the Moon. Thanks to its high-quality parabolic mirror, it is suitable for medium to high magnifications.

The package includes a 25 and 10 mm eyepiece for magnifications up to 26x and 65x. At this magnification, large, expansive star clusters can be observed well. As the Moon and planets are quite small at 65x magnification, it is recommended to buy additional short focus eyepieces or 2x Barlow lenses.
