SkyWatcher AZ Pronto 90/660 refractor

The SkyWatcher AZ Pronto 90/660 lens binoculars are primarily recommended for those looking for an easy-to-use, yet powerful, low-maintenance binocular that is more portable than its 90/900 counterpart. The binoculars are not only perfect for astronomical observation, but also for nature observation.

The contrast and sharpness of the image of Saturn with its magnificent ring and the Cassini knife in it make it an unforgettable experience. Jupiter's swirling cloud bands and Great Red Spot are not hidden from the observer's eye. Of course, the silvery shimmering lunar disk and its sea of craters will also be a fascinating sight. In addition, the telescope will reveal a wealth of colourful binaries and sparkling star clusters, as well as a wealth of deep-sky objects in the countryside.

The SkyWatcher AZ Pronto 90/660 package includes a 25 mm and a 10 mm eyepiece, providing magnifications of 26.4x and 66x, respectively. For further magnifications, the most economical solution is to use 2x Barlow lenses. Using the Zenith mirror included in the basic package, you get an upright but right/left side inverted image, which can also be made side-on using an (optional) Amici prism. Thanks to the T2 thread at the end of the focus slider, you can also attach a camera and use it as a telephoto lens.

The new AZ Pronto azimuth mechanism is easier to use than the equatorial mechanism and allows precise adjustment at higher magnifications thanks to the fine adjustment levers. The extendable tripod can be adjusted to your height.
