The SkyWatcher AZ Pronto 102/1300 MC is recommended for those who value performance, portability and ease of use in a binocular. The short tube and lightweight mechanics make the instrument easy to carry. Thanks to its long focus, you can achieve the same magnifications as with refractors of similar size, without all the drawbacks of a long tube.
With a diameter of 102 mm, the Makasutov-Cassegrain telescope is the ideal instrument for the demanding beginner. The excellent optics show the surface details of the Moon and planets with exceptional sharpness and contrast - up to 200x magnification. The famous Cassini slit in Saturn's ring, the Red Spot on Jupiter are all within reach. On favourable days, you can also see the white snowcap and rusty-brown surface of Mars.
The SkyWatcher AZ Pronto 102/1300 MC includes a 25mm and a 10mm eyepiece for 52x and 130x magnification, respectively. The basic package includes a 6x30 finder scope for easy alignment of celestial objects, and an Amici prism for upright and side-on views, so you can use the binoculars for nature observation. And thanks to the T2 thread at the end of the lens hood, you can also attach a camera, for example to take beautiful pictures of the Moon with an interchangeable lens camera, or use it as an extreme telephoto lens during the day.
The new AZ Pronto azimuth mechanism is easier to use than the equatorial mechanism, and the fine adjustment levers allow precise adjustment at higher magnifications. The extendable tripod can be adjusted to your height.
