With the Opticron MM3 80 GA ED Spectra (45°)the manufacturer's new generation of instruments has put the emphasis on smaller size, brighter, brighter and sharper imaging while maintaining the traditionally reliable, sophisticated design. The 45° version of the Opticron MM3 80 GA ED is the ideal choice for hunters, sport shooters, archers to view a target or simply to view the surrounding panorama from the balcony or bird's-eye view of the birdlife. Its 80mm diameter optics make it ideal for darkness use. The low colour dispersion ED optics give you a contrasty image free of chromatic aberration.
As with most higher-end brands, the binoculars do not have an included zoom eyepiece, so that the user can take possession with the type of eyepiece that best suits their needs. The manufacturer recommends the Opticron HR3, HDF, SDL eyepieces, so that either zoom or fix magnification can be achieved. Where the magnification range of binoculars ends, the time for Opticron spectral arcs comes. When placed on a tripod, they allow long and comfortable observation over the full magnification range. Thanks to its high-quality, multi-layered FMC coatings, the binocular's light utilisation is higher contrast, brighter and more colour-fidelity than cheaper instruments.
The Opticron MM3 80 GA ED spectroscope is waterproof, so there's no need to worry about moisture seeping inside the tube. Its 45° insight version is a favorite of birders and hikers. Typically more useful in applications where it is used both horizontally and upwards. Thanks to its short (5.9 m) closest point, it also allows us to observe at shorter distances, which is really useful for observing small shy creatures and for birdwatchers.
To add to its convenience, the tube can be rotated 90 degrees in both directions in the ring of the stand and positioned every 45 degrees around its longitudinal axis. Of particular note is the two-speed (8:1) microfocus focusing eyepiece for very precise focusing. An optional photo adapter is also available, allowing you to shoot with SLR cameras.
Optional magnification of 20x-60x is available with the Opticron HR3 zoom eyepiece.
