The Bresser Biolux Touch 5MP HDMI Digital LCD Microscope is a remarkable digital tool for observing the micro-world. Its display is touchscreen, so it is adapted to the needs of today's world. With the touchscreen menu, you can easily and conveniently customize settings, change magnification and sharpness, and take pictures or record video with just a touch.

In place of your eyepiece, you can not only watch its image on a touchscreen LCD display, but also view the wonders of the micro world on a large monitor or TV with a HDMI connection. Its 4× 10× 40× magnification lenses cover a magnification range of 30× to 1125×. The device's 5 megapixel camera can capture images at 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution, which can be stored on an external SD/SDHC card up to 32 GB (the card is not included in the package, and we do not recommend using the microscope without it). Video can be captured at 60 frames per second at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 30 frames per second at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, allowing you to capture finer details even with moving samples.

The digital microscope is an ideal teaching tool, as the display allows several people to monitor the microscope work simultaneously. The microscope also has an AV output, so you can connect it to any device with an analogue input.

The features of the Bresser Biolux Touch 5MP HDMI Digital LCD Microscope also make it a very usable instrument: it has particularly adjustable brightness (not standard on other products) bottom-to-top LED illumination, and 5 colour filters can be used to highlight different details. Thanks to its top illumination, you can even put tiny pebbles and bugs underneath and examine them whole. Precise movement of the slides is made easy by the fine movement of the stage, and the scale on the stage even allows you to read the degree of displacement.

The package also includes 5 types of slides, 10 slides, 20 coverslips, a slides preparation kit and a handy cover sheet.

A 5V 2A mains adapter is included in the package, and PLEASE DO NOT use any other adapter in its place as it may cause the device to malfunction (not a warranty defect).

Disadvantage: The metal parts of the fastening or eyepieces
Due to LCD screen and HDMI connection, the microscope is easy to use with a small 4 years old child. You may attract the child to a science with it. As not a professional, can not judge the optics, the optics is sufficient for the home usage.
The package does not include a colorful box. Not an issue for a private usage, but if you buy it for a present, be prepared that there is only a delivery box.
The metal parts of the fastening are shaky. You need to be prepared to adjust them manually with a screwdriver after some time.
