The Baader Classic Plössl 32 mm eyepiece is designed to go with the ever-popular Baader Classic series of orthoscopic eyepieces, but of course it can stand on its own. As the manufacturer intended, the Baader Q-Turret eyepiece can also be used well in revortex, as it is parfocal with the Baader Classic orthoscopic eyepiece family, so using any eyepiece in the same position will give a sharp image.
All air-lens surfaces of the Baader Classic Plössl 32 mm eyepiece feature Baader's own HT (High Transmission) anti-reflection coatings for maximum light transmission. Of course, the edge of the lenses are painted matte black, which further reduces reflections inside the eyepiece.
The recessed volcano top design makes viewing easier and more comfortable, while the retractable rubber eyecups prevent stray light from entering the eyepiece.
The field of view is 52 degrees, the same as most popular Plössl eyepieces. A standard filter thread is provided at the bottom of the 1.25" diaphragm.
