The ToupCam XCAM-1080PHD microscope camera has been designed specifically for industrial use, offering excellent image quality along with a range of notable features. Its 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution is ideally suited to modern Full HD TVs and projectors.
Thanks to its HDMI output, the image can be displayed on a TV or projector without the need for a computer, making it easy to share the microscope image in education, healthcare or industrial applications. Its built-in operating system enables versatile standalone use: images can be saved to an SD card in either still image or video format. It also supports various angle and distance measurement functions, while software calibration allows object dimensions to be calculated in millimetres. The camera is user-friendly and can be controlled with a USB mouse, while also supporting wireless solutions.
Thanks to its Wi-Fi connectivity, the microscope image can be viewed live and recorded on a computer using the included ToupView or ToupLite software, which provides the same measurement functions as the built-in operating system. It can handle up to 6 Wi-Fi connections simultaneously, allowing the image to be viewed on multiple devices at the same time. In addition, as the manufacturer has also released ToupView for Android, the image can be viewed on mobile phones and tablets.
A 230 V mains connection is required for power supply. The camera connects to a microscope via a C-mount thread.
