The Svbony SV106 50 mm guide scope with tube rings works exceptionally well with modern autoguiders. Its key advantage is the standard 31.7 mm (1.25") focuser with a T2 thread, allowing virtually any camera or eyepiece to be attached. Alignment is adjusted using six small screws, providing a more stable mounting for autoguiding than the more common spring-loaded versions.
Its compact design ensures easy focusing. Coarse focus is adjusted with a 3 cm sliding mechanism, while fine focusing is aided by a helical focuser attachment featuring a T2 thread. Both systems are graduated for easy reading. The objective has a clear aperture of 50 mm and a focal length of 190 mm, with all optical surfaces featuring fully multicoated anti-reflection coatings. The tube is carefully baffled internally to prevent unwanted reflections, while the objective lens is protected by a longer-than-average dew shield that effectively prevents dew formation.
The mini guide scope is compatible with Sky-Watcher finder shoes and can also be mounted on top of Bresser Messier telescopes.
