The outstanding f4 brightness of the SkyWatcher Quattro 200/800 enhances its efficiency: it can work with shorter exposure times, and the field of view it offers is also enormous. The increased size of the secondary mirror allows for a larger, vignetting-free field of view. The telescope comes with a 2", two-speed Crayford or LinerPower focusing eyepiece, and the 1:10 ratio makes it easy to focus accurately. Internal anti-reflection louvres further enhance the image quality of the telescope.
The high brightness of the telescopes makes the use of a coma corrector almost essential. The instrument is recommended primarily for photographic use.
