The Skywatcher Heritage 130/650 Flex Dobson telescope is an ultra-compact, exceptionally portable, lightweight astronomical telescope at a far-from-astronomical price. Its optical tube is collapsible, making its already compact size even smaller. This is a genuine grab-and-go telescope, and its optical performance will impress beginner astronomers as well.
At the heart of the Flex Dobson is a precision-made 130 mm primary mirror. Unlike many entry-level reflecting telescopes, it features a parabolic surface rather than a spherical one, delivering sharp, pleasing images even at high magnifications. An instrument of this size reveals a wealth of celestial objects in the night sky. The Moon's countless craters, Saturn's rings and Jupiter's colourful cloud bands are sure to impress, as will dozens of star clusters, nebulae and galaxies, all of which this telescope displays beautifully under dark rural skies.
