Skywatcher Classic 250/1200 Dobson

High performance at a budget-friendly price. Skywatcher classic dobsonics areexcellent value for money, but also optically very high quality astronomical telescopes. They are an excellent choice for visual observers who prefer optical performance, simplicity and ease of use over high-tech solutions.

The 25 cm precision-machined (diffraction-limited) parabolic mirror is made of a glass material with the same properties as Pyrex. A telescope of this size reveals a wealth of celestial beauty: star clusters can be broken down into tiny stars, and the spiral arms of several galaxies can be easily observed. Many interstellar clouds of gas and dust look almost as they do in photographs. Thanks to its excellent optics, the Moon and planetary surfaces can be studied in detail. The precise 2" Crayford focuser allows very fine focusing and the possibility of achieving large fields of view, which is particularly useful for observing large deep sky objects.

The 25 mm and 10 mm barium eyepieces included in the basic package provide magnification of 48x and 120x, respectively. The fiber-optic 9x50 spring-loaded finder scope makes it easy to locate objects.
