High performance at an affordable price. Sky-Watcher Classic Dobson telescopes offer excellent value for money while delivering outstanding optical quality. They are an excellent choice for visual observers who prioritise optical performance, simplicity and ease of use over high-tech solutions.
The precision-engineered, diffraction-limited 20 cm parabolic primary mirror is made from glass with properties equivalent to Pyrex. It reveals a wealth of celestial detail: star clusters can be resolved into individual stars, while the spiral arms of many galaxies become easily visible. Numerous interstellar gas and dust clouds appear in forms almost identical to those seen in photographs. Thanks to its excellent optics, lunar and planetary surface features can also be studied in detail. The precise 2" Crayford focuser enables very fine focusing and provides the option of achieving wide fields of view, which is particularly advantageous when observing extended deep-sky objects.
The supplied Barium 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces provide magnifications of 48x and 120x. The crosshair 9x50 spring-loaded finder scope makes locating objects easy.
