The SkyWatcher 102/1300 Maksutov-Cassegrain tube is the most portable 10 cm telescope we offer. It collects 28% more light than its smaller 90 mm diameter "brother", while giving up almost none of the portability. Thanks to its long focus, you can achieve the same magnifications as with refractors of a similar size, without all the drawbacks of a long tube. It can also be used as a powerful telephoto lens thanks to the T2 thread at the end. The corrective lens is fully-multicoated to transmit as much light as possible.
The SkyWatcher 102/1300 MC telescope comes with 25 and 10 mm eyepieces, offering magnifications of 52x and 130x, respectively. A starpointer makes it easy to align the celestial bodies, and a zenith mirror makes observing them convenient. Since the telescope is upright (but with left-right inverted images), it is also well suited for nature observation.
The Vixen standard prism rail at the bottom of the tube is compatible with most astronomical telescope tripods, which have a 1/4" thread at the bottom for mounting on photo tripods.
