The Olight S2R II Baton is a high-power, long-range, side-switch rechable Olight torch with advanced technologies.
Significant power is delivered by a single Luminus SST-40 CW LED built into the lamp. The lamp has a range of 135 metres at maximum brightness. During operation, you can choose between five brightness levels and strobe modes (luminous flux for each mode: 1150-400 lumen, 400 lumen, 120 lumen, 15 lumen, 0.5 lumen). The Olight S2R II Baton is powered by a single 3200 mAh 18650 lithium battery.
The lens of the lamp is made with the innovative TIR technology, a material with 90 percent light transmission. And the luminaire body is made of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with special anodizing. This makes the Olight S2R II Baton extremely scratch and impact resistant.
The charging unit has undergone revolutionary innovations. The included MCC-1A magnetic charging platform is almost as big as a coin.
The charging cable terminates in a USB plug, so it can be charged almost anywhere (from a computer, a USB cigarette lighter socket in a car, or a mobile phone power adapter). Just bring the end of the light close to the magnetic charging platform, which, thanks to the magnet, clips on in an instant. Charging is indicated by a green and red light.
For those who care about subtleties, the manufacturer has included a magnet in the flat end cap (which can be removed if required) - this allows the lamp to be fixed to iron and steel surfaces, freeing up both hands of the user. The scratch-resistant belt clip can also be snapped on and off the luminaire body in one easy movement.
Avoid accidental activation with the key lock function. In this case, when the switch button is pressed, the red light of the switch indicates that it is locked. The switch also indicates red light when the battery is discharged. To reduce accidental glare, the light gradually increases to maximum brightness when switched on and gradually dims when switched off.
The Olight S2R II Baton is equipped with anti-overheating protection, which allows the device to reduce to maximum brightness after one and a half minutes of operation. A timer function allows you to set the lamp to switch off automatically after 3 minutes or 9 minutes.
