With its nearly 100 mm objective lens diameter, the Kowa Prominar TSN 99 A (45°) spotting scope delivers outstanding optical performance even at higher magnifications in twilight and poor lighting conditions.
Spotting scopes with a 99 mm objective lens make it easy to distinguish distant targets and observe fine details even at dusk and in overcast weather. An ideal choice for birdwatchers, gamekeepers, hunters, target shooters, and any demanding nature enthusiast.
Every lens element and the prism of the spotting scope feature multiple coatings, resulting in an even more contrast-rich, exceptionally beautiful and bright image, with subtle differences in shade becoming easier to distinguish. The spotting scope, featuring an XD lens (fluorite crystal), provides virtually colour-error-free (chromatic aberration-free) image reproduction. Its dual-speed focusing system enables highly precise focusing.
Nitrogen gas filling protects the spotting scope against internal fogging, even during rapid temperature changes, and it can even be submerged in water for a few seconds. The Kowa Prominar TSN 99A spotting scope is completed by the included 30–70x zoom eyepiece. Eyepieces can be replaced in seconds via the bayonet mount. Its robust magnesium body ensures excellent durability, while its rubberised surface provides a secure grip.
Using the spotting scope is made significantly easier by the rotating objective ring, while the integrated tripod adapter on the underside allows it to be mounted on a tripod in seconds.
