The Armytek Viking Pro Magnet USB tactical/hunting flashlights have been designed specifically for law enforcement, military and hunting applications, as well as demanding use. For hunting flashlights, long beam distance and a narrow beam are essential for accurate aiming. Other important criteria include low weight, a non-slip knurled grip, long runtime and a tail-mounted switch, allowing the flashlight to be operated safely even while wearing gloves. The switch can optionally be replaced with a remote pressure switch, which is particularly useful for hunting applications. A special feature of the new Viking Pro is the manufacturer's magnetic charging platform for charging the included battery. The Armytek Viking Pro flashlight is fully compatible with Armytek colour filters, magnetic mounts, remote switches and accessories.
The Armytek Viking Pro is one of the highest-output models in its category. Its white-light Cree XHP50.2 LED delivers an extreme 2200-lumen output, illuminating distances of up to 286 m using a single 18650 battery. Thanks to its 6 operating modes, the output can be adjusted across several levels using the single switch located on the tailcap. It also features a strobe mode, which can be used to disorient or temporarily blind an opponent. Its optics provide a narrow 11° spot beam, while the medium-width 40° flood beam also illuminates the surrounding area. Power is supplied by a single 18650 battery.
The highest level of water, dust and impact resistance is no coincidence among hunting flashlights. Designed for harsh conditions, these flashlights offer exceptional durability: according to the manufacturer, both the material—anodised aircraft-grade aluminium alloy—and the internal construction can withstand drops from up to 25 metres. The internal structure is also highly resistant to vibrations, ensuring reliable performance when mounted on a firearm and subjected to recoil. After switching on, the flashlight operates at the last-used output level. Unlike many other brands, almost all Armytek flashlights feature active real-time temperature control to prevent overheating. Many manufacturers use time-based output reduction that ignores ambient temperature in an attempt to control flashlight temperature. Armytek, on the other hand, uses advanced electronics to detect and take into account actual temperature conditions—why should a flashlight operate at half power on a cold winter day when there is no need for it? Before the power source is depleted, the flashlight gradually reduces its output in several stages and then switches to emergency light mode, preventing sudden shutdown.
