This 60mm guidescope works excellently with modern autoguiders. A major advantage is that it terminates in a standard 31.7 mm (1.25") focuser with a T2 thread, allowing you to connect virtually any camera or eyepiece. Collimation is achieved with 6 small screws, which offers a more stable attachment for autoguiding than the more common spring-load versions.
Thanks to its short design, focusing will not be an issue. Coarse focus is adjusted with a 3 cm slider, while fine focusing is aided by a helical focuser, which also features a T2 thread. Both focusing systems are scaled for easy reading of values. The objective lens has a 60 mm clear aperture and a 216 mm focal length, with all optical surfaces featuring multiple anti-reflection coatings (fully multicoated). The tube is carefully baffled internally to prevent distracting reflections, and a longer-than-average dew shield is located in front of the objective lens, providing effective protection against dew formation.
This mini guidescope is compatible with SkyWatcher finderscope bases, or can be mounted on top of Bresser Messier telescopes.
Weight: approx. 900g.
