This 60 mm guide scope works exceptionally well with modern autoguiders. Its main advantage is the standard 31.7 mm (1.25") focuser, terminating in a T2 thread, allowing virtually any camera or eyepiece to be attached. Alignment is adjusted using six small screws, providing more stable mounting for autoguiding than the more common spring-loaded versions.
Its compact design ensures hassle-free focusing. Coarse focus can be adjusted using a 3 cm sliding mechanism, while fine focusing is assisted by a helical focuser with a T2 thread. Both systems are graduated for easy reading. The objective has a 60 mm clear aperture and a focal length of 216 mm, with all optical surfaces featuring fully multicoated anti-reflection coatings. The tube is carefully baffled internally to prevent unwanted reflections, and the objective lens is protected by a longer-than-average dew shield for effective protection against dew formation.
The mini guide scope is compatible with Sky-Watcher finder shoes or can be mounted on top of Bresser Messier telescopes.
