If you've ever used a telescope of any kind, you've more than likely wanted to capture what you've seen to show your family and friends or even your co-workers at work the next day. But unfortunately, it's a bumpy road from visual observation to taking an astrophotograph. The ZWO Seestar S50 smartphone automatically finds the object you want and takes care of the focusing, and takes the picture! You don't even have to train your binoculars, you can instantly rely on the GoTo feature.
The instrument's premium-quality, triple (triplet) apochromatic lens ensures perfect imaging, which the built-in Sony IMX462 Full HD resolution (1080x1920 pixels) sensor stores and stitches together for you into a single image. Yes, it stacks, as it enriches your images in real time into an increasingly detailed picture that you can instantly show off to your fellow observers. Since the images are managed by your smartphone's app, there's no need for complicated cabling, you can control your binoculars via a WiFi connection. You can reduce the effects of light pollution with the built-in dual-band narrowband filter.
Weighing just under 3kg, you can easily take your telescope with you to the ends of the earth. Fully charged, it can operate for 6 hours, enough for a night's sleep. But it's not just at night, you can also use your apochromatic optics during the day for city or nature viewing.

Disadvantage: Nincs ilyen.
Kompakt méretéhez képest nagyon sokoldalú tudással rendelkezik. Persze megvannak a korlátai, de ezért az árért tudni kell elfogadni. Nem régóta használom, de már márig sok örömet okozott.

Disadvantage: Ilyet nem tapasztaltam.
Este, igazi' ég alatt még ki sem tudtam próbálni az eszközt csak párás, közvilágítás által szennyezett környezetben. Csak csatlakozni tudok a korábbi véleményhez, tényleg döbbenetes, hogy még így is szinte azonnal láthatóvá teszi azt, amit eddig csak képeken láthattam. A Göncöl csillagjai szabad szemmel alig voltak kivehetők, de pár perces expozíciókkal az M51, M81, M82 már kirajzolódtak. Ugyanilyen égen 10 perc után az M57 planetáris köd színes gyűrűje tökéletesen látszott. Alig várom, hogy jobb körülmények között is tudjak az égbolt szépségei között barangolni.
Itt említem meg, hogy jó lenne, ha egyéb Seestar kiegészítők is elérhetők lennének, mint porsapka, szintező.
