The ZWO Filter Drawer (Mark II) with M54 thread is typically recommended for cameras equipped with larger (full-frame) sensors. It allows 2" filters to be changed quickly and easily without removing the camera, making it a practical alternative to filter wheels.
The filter drawer features an M54 thread on both sides. The package includes an M54/M48 adapter, allowing the filter drawer to be attached to M48-threaded accessories on the telescope side, such as a coma corrector.
The lightweight yet sturdy construction uses a magnetic lock to secure the filter holder precisely, while its matte black surfaces prevent internal reflections throughout. Compared to its predecessor, the Mark II eliminates possible light leaks when the filter holder is connected to the drawer. Two small "wings" on the drawer overlap the sides of the drawer holder.
As the ZWO filter drawer is exactly 20 mm wide, when used with ZWO cameras it also replaces a 20 mm T2 extension tube.
The product includes one 2" filter holder drawer, but additional drawers are also available separately.
