The ZWO EFW Mini motorized filter wheel accommodates 5×1.25" or 5×31 mm filters, allowing motorized filter changes via a computer, ZWO ASIAir, or ToupTek Stellavita. An excellent match for cameras with sensors up to 20 mm in diameter.
The filter wheel features a T2 thread on both sides, ensuring a simple and secure connection between the telescope and camera. It also offers screw-on mounting options for the manufacturer's cooled cameras, allowing the filter wheel to be positioned closer to the sensor to help minimize vignetting. The unit connects to a computer via USB 2.0 and, once the ASCOM driver has been installed, can be easily controlled using any compatible software.
The ZWO EFW Mini motorized filter wheel is housed in a high-quality aluminum body, measuring just 20 mm in width and weighing 300 grams. Its slim design allows it to be placed remarkably close to the camera sensor, preventing vignetting even when used with fast telescopes.
The updated filter wheel features a USB-C connector and additional shielding against stray light.
