The ZWO EAF N motorized focuser is a focus motor and controller that allows the focuser to be adjusted from a computer or a mobile phone (via an ASIAIR device). The ZWO EAF N replaces the earlier ZWO EAF 5V model. The new version differs from its predecessor essentially only in that the USB 2.0 connector has been replaced with a USB-C connector.
It can be fitted to the Crayford focuser of popular Sky-Watcher telescopes using the included adapters, and when connected to a computer, focus can be controlled with any ASCOM- or INDI-compatible software. A hand controller for manual focusing or a temperature sensor can be connected to the unit, allowing the focuser position to be corrected according to temperature.
The ZWO EAF motorized focuser supports ASIAIR, allowing you to build a fully compatible ZWO system. It features a stepper motor that enables absolute positioning, and according to the manufacturer, it can move loads of up to 5 kg using the focuser.
It receives the required 5 V power supply via the USB-C connector.

Warning! Due to the motor's increased torque, its power consumption exceeds the level that the USB ports of first- and second-generation ZWO ASIAIR devices can support. Consequently, only newer ASIAIR versions can power it directly.
