The UOVision Select 30 wildlife camera requires no special skills to set up and use, it's simple to get started with just 12 AA batteries and an SD card (which can hold up to 256 GB). Captured images and video are stored on the SD card, so it's possible to copy images to a portable computer in the field, or just use a replacement card to briefly disturb the environment, but you can also review the footage on the 2-inch display if you wish.
The wildlife camera captures colour images or motion pictures during the day, but at night it switches to black and white mode and effectively uses the 940 nm infrared range of LED illumination, invisible to the human and animal eye. This allows us to witness things that the human eye would otherwise never have seen. Because the LED is invisible, it does not distract or scare away wildlife or disguise itself from humans. The same can be said of the camera as a whole - it is completely silent and invisible, making it the perfect partner for wildlife watching, but also a useful tool for professionals in guarding and protection roles. Its small size also helps it remain inconspicuous.
Like UOVision's other wildlife cameras, this model is also armed with passive infrared (PIR) sensor for any human or animal movement. Its reaction time is an extremely short 0.2 seconds, and it can be programmed to take pictures or time-lapse video at certain intervals without motion activity. You can preset the time between two shots in the event that there is no motion to activate the wildlife camera. The device can also be used to capture images manually.
You can choose from a range of image resolutions - from 5 megapixels to 30 megapixels (5MP, 8MP, 16MP, 20MP, 24MP, 30MP ), and up to 4K resolution for motion video (4K/1440P /1080 p / 720 p/WVGA/QVGA)! and can be set to capture both still images and video simultaneously. When taking a photo, you can set it to take a series of 10 images instead of a single shot, making it easier to choose the best one. You can also select the strength of the infrared flash. When shooting a video, you can choose a length from 5 seconds to 1 minute. As usual from UOVision, the camera is weather and water resistant and also features signature protection.
