TrustFire H5R headlight

The TrustFire H5R headlamp will be a useful companion when you're hiking at night, when the power goes out during a summer storm, when you're out night fishing or when you need to change a tire in the dark. Of course, in almost endless other situations, the freedom to use both hands is a huge advantage because your headlamp allows you to do so.

Not surprisingly, the TrustFire H5R headlamp also uses the tried-and-true 18650 battery as its power source. Charging of the standard 3000 mAh battery is handled via USB cable.

The headlamp can light up with four different brightness levels and also features a strobe mode. At its highest setting of 600 lumens, it can illuminate up to 115 meters for 327 minutes, and its lowest brightness survival mode can light for up to 168 hours. Thanks to its metal housing, the light can withstand a fall from 1 metre and is dust and waterproof (but not a diving light) thanks to its IP68 protection rating.

In order to cover a large 150° area, the TrustFire H5R headlamp is powered by two LEDs, so it doesn't just provide a narrow cone of light that splits the night, but also keeps the wider area visible.
