The ToupCam EP 12 megapixel microscope camera is a compact, colour-viewing camera that can be used with most standard microscopes: it can simply be placed in place of the eyepiece. With a resolution of 3840 x 3040 pixels, it can capture very fine details.
The ToupCam EP 12 megapixel microscope camera, which replaces previous models, has a new SONY sensor with higher data compression efficiency and faster 5-8 megapixel 30 fps, 12 megapixel 20 fps (frames per second), giving a more continuous video view, as well as a more live image.
The camera's ToupView software is highly sophisticated, with many features including the ability to perform measurement functions, which, once calibrated, can determine the dimensions of objects under the microscope.
In addition to Windows 7/8/10, it also supports Max OS X and Linux.
