The ToupCam EP 12-megapixel microscope camera is a compact colour camera compatible with most standard microscopes: simply insert it in place of the eyepiece. Its 3840 x 3040 pixel resolution captures exceptionally fine detail.
Replacing previous models, the ToupCam EP 12-megapixel microscope camera features a new SONY sensor with more efficient data compression and faster frame rates of 30 fps at 5–8 megapixels and 20 fps at 12 megapixels (frames per second), providing smoother video and live-view footage.
The camera's ToupView software is highly sophisticated and offers numerous functions, including measurement functions which, after calibration, can be used to determine the dimensions of objects under the microscope.
It supports Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS X and Linux.
