The Svbony SV535 ED 36 mm f/2.8 APO tube is a lightweight and compact telescope designed specifically for astrophotography purposes, weighing only 482 g.
The SV535 astrophotography lens features a bright f/2.8 focal ratio, which increases imaging efficiency through short exposure times, while producing sharp and detailed images of deep-sky objects.
The Svbony SV535 ED 36 mm f/2.8 APO tube has a 105 mm focal length, enabling wide-field imaging, making it an ideal choice for capturing vast star fields and nebulae. The APO (apochromatic) design consists of 7 lens elements in 5 groups, minimizing chromatic aberration and ensuring sharp and color-accurate views.
Thanks to the FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) multi-layer coating, the refractor delivers vivid color and high-contrast images free from unwanted reflections, which is essential for quality astrophotography.
The tube can be connected to astrophotography cameras via a classic T2 thread, and to Sony mirrorless cameras via an E-mount. Connection to DSLR cameras and mirrorless MILC systems via T2 is not possible, as focusing on stars at infinity would not be achievable.
The tube with a detachable tube ring can be mounted on an astronomical mount using a Vixen-standard dovetail bar, or on a photo head with an Arca-Swiss compatible base. Precise focusing is assisted by a helical focuser mechanism, which is also EAF compatible for motorization.
With the dew shield attached, the tube length is 140 mm; however, for transport, the dew shield can be reversed, reducing the length to just 110 mm. A 2" filter can be attached to the front of the optics. It can also be used as a telephoto lens for daytime photography, in which case it is recommended to use a 2" ND filter to reduce incoming light.
Safe storage and transport of the telescope are ensured by the included cylindrical carrying case.
