The Svbony SV535 ED 36 mm f/2.8 APO optical tube is a lightweight, compact telescope designed specifically for astrophotography, weighing just 482 g. Its excellent optical design makes it compatible even with cameras featuring full-frame sensors.
The SV535 lens has a fast f/2.8 focal ratio. This exceptionally fast focal ratio enables detailed images of deep-sky objects to be captured with short exposure times.
The 105 mm focal length of the Svbony SV535 ED 36 mm f/2.8 APO optical tube provides a wide field of view, making it an ideal choice for imaging vast star fields and nebulae. Its APO (apochromatic) design consists of 7 lens elements arranged in 5 groups, minimizing chromatic aberration and ensuring sharp, true-to-colour images.
Thanks to its multilayered (FMC) anti-reflective coatings, this refractor delivers vivid, high-contrast images free from unwanted reflections, which is essential for high-quality astrophotography. Precise focusing is provided by a helical focuser.
The optical tube connects to astrophotography cameras via a standard T2 thread. With a conventional T2 adapter, DSLR and mirrorless cameras cannot achieve focus on stars due to limited backfocus. However, the package also includes dedicated slim Sony E (5.5 mm) and Canon RF (4 mm) adapters, allowing compatible mirrorless cameras to be used without any issues.
Including the dew shield, the optical tube has a total length of 140 mm, which can be reduced to 110 mm by reversing the dew shield. A 2" filter can be fitted to the front of the optics. The mini telescope can be mounted on an astronomical mount using its Vixen-standard dovetail bar, or on a tripod head via its Arca-Swiss-compatible base. It can also be used as a daytime telephoto lens; in this case, a 2" ND filter is recommended to reduce the amount of incoming light.
The supplied cylindrical carrying case ensures safe storage and transport of the telescope.
