The Svbony SV260 Multi-Narrowband Filter is designed specifically for amateur astronomers photographing in small-town, rural (Borle 3-6) light-polluted environments for astrophotographic use.
When used with standard astronomy cameras or DSLR, MILC cameras, a single shot can have the effect of 5 narrowband filters using a single filter. As a result, the effect of light pollution is greatly reduced, but its greater transmission range supports the enhancement of natural colours. The figure below shows the light pollution caused by artificial lighting (yellow line), which is excluded from the imaging by the filter.
