The Svbony SV240 Multi-Narrowband Filter is specifically designed for amateur astronomers photographing from light-polluted urban environments, and according to the manufacturer, it can be effectively used even under Bortle 8 skies.
When used with color astronomical cameras or DSLR, MILC cameras, the effect of multiple narrowband filters is achieved with a single filter in one shot. As a result, by blocking 99% of light pollution, only three wavelength ranges, the H-beta, OIII, and H-alpha ranges, are visible in astrophotographs. With a transmission capability of over 90% in these ranges, it competes with similar products from well-known brands.
