The Svbony SV226P filter drawer kit is an ideal choice for amateur astronomers who frequently observe from remote locations and astrophotographers using colour cameras under urban skies. When using one or two filters, there is no need for a large, heavy filter wheel. The system enables quick and easy filter changes. It can be used with both 2" and 1.25" filters using the included 2"-to-1.25" adapter. The filter drawer adds 21 mm of optical path length to the system.
The Svbony SV226P filter drawer can be connected to a camera via a T2 thread. On the telescope side, it features an M48 thread and can also be fitted to a T2-threaded system using the included T2 adapter. The filter holder drawer is equipped with a strong magnetic lock, making filter changes safe and convenient even in the dark while keeping the drawer securely in place. The CNC-machined aluminium alloy housing is designed to prevent stray light from entering the interior alongside the drawer.
Thanks to the mounting holes, it can be integrated with the Svbony SV238 and the Touptek OAG-L off-axis guider.
