The Svbony SV158 2" (45 mm) extension tube features compression rings that provide even pressure and precise positioning for 2" barrels of eyepieces, Barlow lenses, and other accessories.
When attempting prime-focus photography, the focuser may not provide sufficient travel to achieve sharp focus. The same issue can occur when using your telescope without a mirror diagonal. In such cases, an extension tube provides the required extra distance to reach focus.
When using an astronomical telescope for nature observation or wildlife photography, the nearest focus distance may often be too far away. An extension tube also solves this issue. The farther the eyepiece or camera is positioned from the optics, the closer the object that can be brought into sharp focus.
The end of the Svbony SV158 2" (45 mm) extension tube features an M48 (2") filter thread.
