The Svbony SV158 2" (55 mm) extension tube features compression rings that provide even pressure and precise positioning for 2" barrels of eyepieces, Barlow lenses, and other accessories.
When imaging at prime focus, the focuser often does not provide enough travel to achieve sharp focus. The same issue may occur when using the telescope without a mirror diagonal. In such cases, an extension tube provides the solution, allowing proper focusing.
If you wish to use your astronomical telescope for nature observation or wildlife photography, the minimum focusing distance is often too long. An extension tube is the solution in this case as well. The farther the eyepiece or camera is positioned from the optics, the closer the object that can be brought into focus.
The end of the Svbony SV158 2" (55 mm) extension tube features an M48 (2") filter thread.
