The SkyWatcher SynScan USB adapter is a simple and cost-effective solution for replacing the handheld controller of SynScan (or older Syntrek) mechanics and controlling the mechanics with a PC.
The adapter is compatible with the following scopes:
- SkyWatcher EQ-3 / EQ-5 / HEQ-5 SynScan or SynTrek / EQ-6R / AZ-EQ-5 / AZ-EQ-6 / EQ-8 goto mechanics
- SkyWatcher Az-Goto / Star Discovery / Goto dobson / Allview / Virtuoso mechanics
Of course, it is also compatible with retrofitted SynScan upgrade kits.
To connect the adapter to a computer, you will also need a SynScan USB cable, which is not included.
