It is also suitable for electronically assisted astronomy (EAA), allowing small groups to view the live image simultaneously. Its high sensitivity is a major advantage in every application.
The modern, 9-megapixel (3008×3008) sensor operates with minimal noise even at high gain. Another important feature is the elimination of the "amp glow" effect typically seen during signal amplification. The camera features a built-in UV/IR filter for sharp, high-contrast images. It connects to the telescope via a T2 thread, while a 1.25" adapter is also included as standard.
