The SkyWatcher SkyMax 127/1500 MC binoculars are the ideal choice if you are looking for a large, but easily portable and very high quality binocular. Its 127mm Makasutov-Cassegrain optics give a surprisingly sharp, contrasty image, allowing you to spot Jupiter's Great Red Spot or the famous Cassini's Rift in Saturn's ring. It also reveals many galaxies, but it can also be used to resolve many star clusters.
The short tube of just 35 cm and the lightweight mechanics make the instrument easy to carry, offering an optimal compromise between performance and size. The telescope can also be used as a powerful telephoto lens, thanks to the T2 thread at the end and the possibility of attaching a tripod.
The basic package includes 25 and 10 mm Bárium eyepieces, which provide magnification of 60x and 150x, but with additional eyepieces, magnification of up to 250x can be used. A Starpointer makes it easy to align the celestial bodies and a cenito mirror makes observing them comfortable. As the telescope is upright (but with left-right inverted), it is also suitable for nature observation.
The NEQ-2's equatorial mechanics (tripod) are of course equipped with fine adjustment and can be optionally extended with a watch case. The extendable aluminium foot can be adjusted to your height.
