The SkyWatcher HEQ-5 Column Extension for Wave 100i / 150i Mechanisms allows you to attach your existing EQ-3, EQ-5, HEQ-5 tripod to your SkyWatcher Wave 100i or Wave 150i mechanism heads.
The column extender is attached between the tripod and the mechanics head to gain extra height. This is important if the height of the factory tripod is insufficient when using your telescope. At the bottom is the leg connection for the HEQ-5 series, at the top is a 3/8" connection for mounting Wave 100i and Wave 150i heads.
