The SkyWatcher Evostar ED 150/1200 DS-Pro apochromat is a real big gun, a planetary observer's dream instrument. Thanks to its special glass material, its two-piece lens is free of the color aberration that characterizes acromatic lenses, giving you unparalleled contrast and sharpness.
Excellent planetary instrument
The SkyWatcher Evostar ED 150/1200 DS-Pro is an outstanding instrument for visual observation of the fine details of the planets. Its large 150 mm optics - among binoculars with lenses - provide detailed images at magnifications up to 300x. The Moon appears almost three-dimensional, as if flying over its surface. Saturn's ring, including the Cassini disk, and Jupiter's clouds with their tiny swirls are also visible.
The manufacturer's MHC coating transmits 99.5% of the light per surface, maximising the telescope's light-harvesting power and brilliant contrast.
Precise focusing is facilitated by a 2", two-speed Crayford focusing knob and a 1:10 fine focus knob. An aluminium case is standard for safe transport.
