The Scopium FirstScope 70/700 AZ refractor is a great starter instrument, combining good performance and a rich basic equipment with a very affordable price. The 700 mm focal length allows the instrument to achieve high magnifications, but it is not recommended to go above the theoretical maximum magnification of 140x, although the accessories included in the package allow this.
With the Scopium FirstScope 70/700 AZ refractor, you can see the tiny craters of the Moon, the magnificent ring of Saturn and the magnificent cloud bands and moons of Jupiter. But you can also catch a glimpse of double stars, dazzling star clusters and mysterious galaxies, especially if you take your instrument under a light-free sky. And because the telescope is lightweight, weighing only 10 kg with its box, it's easy to move.
In the box you will find everything you need to get started! Two eyepieces: 20 mm, 12.5 mm giving 35x and 56x magnification, a 3x Barlow lens and a 1.5x stretching image reversing member to give you a straight-on and side-on image for daytime observation. Its eyepiece eyepiece is 1.25" in size, allowing the use of higher quality eyepieces in the future to increase the image quality provided by the scope.
The azimuthal mechanism allows easy movement, even during daytime use. The simple telescope stand also provides fine adjustment on the vertical movement rod. The eyepiece tray design allows easy, secure storage of eyepiece-side accessories that are not in use. And the extendable aluminium foot adjusts to your height, so adults and children can use it comfortably.
Take a seat next to your binoculars and discover the wonders of the sky soon!
