Our downloadable star map is designed for those who want to learn about the most important constellations in the night sky as easily as possible. It is an excellent complement to the Star Atlas Small Telescopes.
Using the map is very simple: set the current date and time, and the cut-out will show you which constellations are visible overhead. The constellations are listed with their names, along with about 50 deep-sky objects and 20 binary stars. The map is drawn for the middle latitude of Hungary, 47 degrees latitude.
On the back of the rotatable star map, in addition to the constellations of the northern sky, you can also find a more detailed map of them on which page of the Star Atlas for Small Telescopes book. We've selected 20 binaries and 50 deep-sky objects that we recommend for first-time binocular buyers. What's more! We also indicate how under city and moonlight they are recommended to find.
The rotatable star chart measures 21x21 cm and is made of plastic, making it resistant to humidity and moisture.
