Optolong UV/IR-blocking filter (1.25")

Optolong UV/IR block filters can be an important companion for photographers using digital cameras through acromatic refractors. Unfocused UV/IR rays passing through the lenses cause a disturbing "halo" on the CCD chip - a phenomenon that can be completely eliminated by using these filters. Optolong's filters are made from German Schott glass with a machining precision of at least L/4. They also feature a high light transmission rate. They are supplied with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating and a hard, scratch-resistant (IBAD) coating to guarantee durability.
