As its name suggests, the Opticron tripod adapter for centre-focus binoculars is designed to mount binoculars on a tripod where the adapter can be attached to the central focusing shaft (e.g. older 20x60 Tento binoculars).
The adapter accommodates shafts with a diameter of 12–15 mm. At least 16 mm of the shaft must be exposed, as the adapter is 15 mm thick. The clamping section features a rubber insert for a secure grip without scratching the shaft. Width: 35 mm.
