When faced with a choice of lamps with similar power sources and similar advanced technology, we find that manufacturers are either developing lamps with greater diffusing power to illuminate a wider area, or focusing on the "range" capabilities of the lamp with a narrower beam. The Olight Warrior X 3 hunting flashlight represents a strong middle ground in e-space, with a maximum output of 2500 lumens that can illuminate a larger area up to 560 meters.
The Olight Warrior X 3 hunting flashlight (6500 K) has a cool white light that illuminates much farther than its warmer-light counterparts. With its well-designed two modes, it covers the needs of high brightness use as well as long-lasting balanced light use. In the first mode, it operates at 2500 lm for 2.5 minutes, then down to 1000 lm for a further 129 minutes, and then at 300 lm for 13 minutes. In the second mode, it can light at 300 lumens for up to 8 hours continuously.
The light is powered by a special 5000 mAh 21700 lithium battery included in the kit, and charging is via the handy MCC-3 magnetic charging platform, so you don't need to remove the battery from the device to charge it. The accessory magnetic charging platform terminates in a standard USB connector, which is also advantageous because it can be powered from a laptop, powerbank or car charger. A full discharge requires 5.5 hours of charging, indicated by a red light when charging and a green light when fully charged.
Olight lights can also be used tactically and can withstand being crushed against a car windscreen without damage - a capability that can be life-saving in emergency situations. Not heavy (255 g) or too big (149.5 mm x 39 mm x 26.2 mm), you will regret not carrying it with you.
To create a durable lamp, Olight has also made this lamp in the tradition of anodized aerospace aluminum alloy. The cratch-resistant belt clip can also be snapped on or off the luminaire body with a single, loose movement. The beaded canvas case, also included, can be securely fastened to any belt or sling to keep it handy, a tactical ring can be used for a stable grip, and a wrist strap is also available, preventing dropping when roaming difficult terrain. The Olight Warrior X 3 hunting flashlight's IPX8 protection ensures serious water resistance, so there's no need to worry if you're forced to use your flashlight in the rain.
