The newest member of the Perun family, the Olight Perun 2 Headlamp is a multifunctional headlamp that can be used as a headlamp or a flashlight.
The lamp's cold-light, high-output LED is powered by a 21700-type 4000 mAh battery that gives the lamp a maximum brightness of 2500 lumens, giving it a range of 166 meters with a wide beam cone. The magnetic battery cap allows it to be securely attached to steel surfaces, and the included belt clip helps to secure the Olight Perun 2 headlamp to clothing or backpacks, but of course it can also be used as a headlamp with the included head strap.
The charging platform terminates in a USB socket, so you can find a place to charge it anywhere. The platform is magnetic, just touch the light to it. The charging status is indicated by a red/green light. The charging current is 2 A.
In terms of the number of modes, the lamp has no complaints, with 5 levels of brightness adjustment, but it also boasts a S.O.S. mode. The Olight Perun 2 headlamp has a maximum turbo setting of 2,500 lumens for 2 minutes, and then can be turned down to 800 lumens for a further 175 minutes to protect against overheating. Assuming a charged battery at the additional levels, 500 lumens for 270 minutes, 120 lumens for 18 hours, 30 lumens for 66 hours, and 5 lumens survival light for 12.5 days.
Available in traditional black for those with more conservative tastes, or even orange for colourful individuals.
