The Olight Javelot Pro 2 hunting flashlight is based on the M3X, but with a number of practical features. Perhaps the most important change is that the Olight Javelot Pro 2 hunting light has a newly developed magnetic limit switch, giving you the option of a magnetic swing switch for a range of over 1000 metres, and the ability to charge batteries without disassembling the light via the accessory charging platform.
The lamp's powerful 2500 lumens brightness is provided by a high output LED , powered by two special 21700 type 5000 mAh batteries (the predecessor used 18650 batteries). It can be used not only as a hunting flashlight but also as a searchlight, as it can illuminate a distance of up to 1050 metres at maximum power.
It can be switched on and off by a switch at the end of the body and, as with its predecessor, the brightness levels can be changed by a function switch on the side of the head. On the side switch, LED lights indicate the battery charge level: green = 75% charge, orange = 30-75% charge, red = 30% charge, red flashing 10% charge.
Four modes of operation are available, in Turbo mode the lamp can light up for 5 minutes at 2500 lumens and then run for a further 180 minutes at a still very powerful 1000 lumens, at the end of which it can run for 27 minutes at 600 lumens. The Olight Javelot Pro 2 hunting flashlight is the second most powerful, operating at 600 lumens for 420 minutes and then at 150 lumens for a further 42 minutes. In medium mode at 150 lumens, it can light up for 32 hours and 30 minutes, while in economy mode at 15 lumens, it will last for 12 days.
The body of the Olight Javelot Pro 2 hunting flashlight is made of anodized aerospace-grade aluminum, is rated to withstand drops from a height of one meter, and has an IPX8-rated dust and waterproof finish.
The product also comes with a magnetic charging base for charging the built-in batteries and a handy beaded case.
