The Olight H27S Rechargeable Headlamp features the newer generation LED light source and can also illuminate red, with a maximum output of 1500 lumens.
Thanks to the two-LED solution, you don't have to give up diffused light in exchange for spot light, as the two LEDs meet both common needs simultaneously. The light mode of the headlamp can be adjusted in ten steps. At its highest setting, it illuminates up to 150 m, its lowest brightness can be used for up to 39 hours in typical "red low light" mode, while at its strongest setting it operates for 1 hour 40 minutes.
A LiPo battery pack (2600 mAh 7.2 V) can be charged via the included USB-C charging cable, and its charge level is indicated by an LED indicator, but also warns with an audible alert if the battery level drops below 10%. As the battery is designed for the back of the headband, the weight distribution of the light is very good. With IPX4 protection against splashing water, it can be dropped from a height of 1m onto soft ground without damage, but avoid dropping it if possible.
