The optics with a 42 mm front lens perform well even in low light conditions. It offers a field of view of 129 meters at 1000 meters. The closest point that can be focused is just 2.5 meters.
The Minox X-tour 8x42 features multi-stage adjustable, twist-up eyecups, ensuring comfortable use even for those wearing glasses. Any differences between the eyes can be compensated with a diopter adjustment, up to a value of 5 diopters.
Thanks to its robust, durable design, it can be held steadily even in wet, humid environments, and extreme cold. With its weight and compact size, which are considered average in its category, it is also recommended for longer hikes.
The binoculars are waterproof with a nitrogen gas filling, preventing internal fogging and protecting the optical elements. This is reflected in its IPX7 protection rating.
