The Hikmicro Habrok (940 nm) HQ35L thermal camera-night vision monocular serves as a daytime digital spotting scope with a color image, night vision, and thermal camera with image and sound recording capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as a laser rangefinder with an accuracy of ±1m up to 1000 meters.
The Habrok HQ35 series is equipped with a high-quality 640 x 512 pixel resolution thermal sensor. It offers slightly less magnification than the Habrok HH35 series, yet provides a wider field of view with professional image quality.
Combining practical features in the form of a binocular spotting scope, the Habrok HQ35L is a favorite among hunters, but the dual technology is useful in many other areas. For example, in search and reconnaissance activities, the thermal camera function can be prioritized as it allows large areas to be scanned quickly. In rescue and security tasks, the night vision function can be more beneficial due to its more realistic image rendering.
The robust, ergonomic body is designed for fieldwork with IP67 protection against dust and water. It withstands extreme temperatures, operating in the range of -30°C to +55°C. The Hikmicro Habrok (940 nm) HQ35LN thermal camera-night vision monocular is powered by replaceable 18650 batteries, with two included upon purchase. The device can also be powered by an external source via a USB-C connection.
The night vision function is supported by an infrared illuminator built between the two optics of the spotting scope, and the laser rangefinder is also located here. The eye relief is comfortably adjustable between 60 - 74 mm. Both sides feature -5D to +3D diopter adjustment to tailor the display image to your eyesight.
As a thermal camera, it offers 3x - 22x magnification with a detection range of 3.5 - 1800 meters. When used as a night vision device, it provides 2.9 - 23.2x magnification with a range from 3 meters to 350 meters. The advantage of the 940 nm type is its invisible light, although the 850 nm type can illuminate slightly further. The basic package includes a 940 nm infrared illuminator, along with a replaceable 850 nm infrared illuminator.
The manufacturer has used a FullHD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution OLED display with a unique rounded shape to enhance the natural view. You can capture images and videos—with sound—which can be stored on the built-in 64 GB storage. Through the HIKMICRO Sight app, you can transfer files to your smartphone or tablet. The app also allows you to control the device remotely.
