The new Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL Digital Night Vision Riflescope is one of the most compact night vision riflescopes on the market. With its design reminiscent of classic riflescopes and a clear pictogram menu system, it reliably replaces and even surpasses the capabilities of traditional optics in many areas. Its short tube and low weight make it ideal for small game hunting and pest control. Since the closest targetable distance with the night vision is around two meters, it is ideally suited for use in enclosed spaces, barns, and stables, as well as during stalking hunts.
The Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL Digital Night Vision Riflescope features a laser rangefinder and a ballistic calculator based on its data to aid in shot accuracy. The laser rangefinder operates within a range of 3 to 1000 meters with an accuracy of +/-1 meter.
The core of the device is an exceptionally sensitive 3840 x 2160 4K resolution sensor that displays a color image during the day, usable even in twilight conditions, and provides a black-and-white image in night mode, effectively supported by its optional infrared illuminator. The observed image can be viewed on the device's 1920 x 1080 pixel OLED display or monitored via a smartphone using the built-in WiFi and mobile application. When looking through the riflescope, the corners of the observed image are rounded, mimicking the field of view of classic riflescopes.
Since this night vision device includes 32 GB of built-in memory, it can store several hours of video with audio recording and photos. Among its many useful features, the richly configurable and savable reticle selection, picture-in-picture mode, the "one-shot zero" option, and the recoil-activated recording, which captures the 7, 10, or 15 seconds before and after the shot, are certainly worth mentioning.
The Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL Digital Night Vision Riflescope is compatible with traditional 30 mm mounts. The device is dust and water-resistant with IP67 protection, making it suitable for use even in harsh weather conditions, according to the manufacturer, in temperature ranges from -30 to +55°C.
The focus adjustment ring is located at the front of the night vision device, while the diopter adjustment is, as usual, on the eyepiece side. Beyond these, only three buttons and a combined rotary knob need to be learned. The latter rotary knob is used to enter and navigate the logically structured menu, where the digital zoom setting can also be accessed.
The power supply for the night vision riflescope is provided by a built-in Lithium-ion battery and an external replaceable 18650-type battery, allowing for up to 7 hours of operation on a single charge.
In addition to the device, the package includes the following:
- cleaning cloth
- battery
- battery charger
