The new Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL night vision riflescope is one of the most compact night vision riflescopes on the market. Its classic riflescope-style design and intuitive icon-based menu system make it a reliable replacement for—and in many respects superior to—traditional optics. With its short housing and low weight, it was designed for small game hunting and pest control. As the closest object that can be focused on with the night vision device is approximately two metres away, it is ideally suited for use in enclosed spaces, barns and stables, as well as for stalking.
The ballistic calculator of the Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL night vision riflescope uses data from the laser rangefinder to improve shot accuracy. The laser rangefinder has an operating range of 3 to 1,000 metres, with an accuracy of +/-1 metre.
At the heart of the device is an exceptionally sensitive 3840 x 2160 4K resolution sensor, delivering a colour image during the day and remaining highly usable even in twilight conditions. In night mode, it provides a black-and-white image in complete darkness, which can be effectively supported by the optional IR illuminator. The image can be viewed on the device's 1920 x 1080-pixel OLED display or on a smartphone via the mobile app and built-in WiFi. When looking through the riflescope, the corners of the image are rounded, replicating the field of view of traditional riflescopes.
As this night vision device also features 32 GB of built-in memory, it can store several hours of video with audio recording, as well as photographs. Among its many useful features are a highly configurable and savable selection of reticles, picture-in-picture mode, one-shot zeroing, and recoil-activated recording, which captures the 7, 10 or 15 seconds before and after the shot.
The Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL night vision riflescope is compatible with standard 30 mm mounts. The device has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water, allowing it to be used confidently even in very harsh weather conditions, at temperatures ranging from -30 to +55°C according to the manufacturer.
The focus ring is located at the front of the night vision device, while the dioptre adjustment is positioned on the eyepiece side, as usual. In addition, there are only three push buttons and one combined rotary control to master. This rotary knob is used to access and navigate the logically structured menu, and it also provides access to the digital zoom settings.
Power is supplied by both the built-in lithium-ion battery and an external replaceable 18650 battery, providing up to 7 hours of operating time on a single charge.
In addition to the device, the package includes:
- cleaning cloth
- battery
- battery charger
