The Explore Scientific 82° Series eyepieces offer premium quality at a surprisingly affordable price. Compared to earlier models of similar focal length, the new LER series features slightly increased eye relief.
The 82° apparent field of view creates the much-mentioned spacewalk sensation for the observer. Thanks to their particularly flat field of view, stars remain pinpoint-sharp even at the edges, making these eyepieces an excellent choice for use with faster telescopes. The eyepieces offer above-average eye relief, providing exceptional viewing comfort.
A distinctive feature of these eyepieces is their waterproof construction, which makes the internal components particularly resistant to fogging. Effective anti-reflection coatings on the lens surfaces and matte-black coating on the internal surfaces ensure outstanding contrast and protection against reflections. Each eyepiece is individually serial numbered.
