Explore Scientific 82° Series eyepieces offer premium quality at a surprisingly affordable price. Compared to previous models with similar focal lengths, the new LER series features slightly increased eye relief.
The 82° apparent field of view creates the much-discussed spacewalk effect. Thanks to their particularly flat field of view, stars remain pinpoint-sharp even at the edge of the field, making these eyepieces an excellent choice for use with faster telescopes. Their above-average eye relief provides exceptionally comfortable viewing.
A distinctive feature of these eyepieces is their waterproof construction, making the internal components particularly resistant to fogging. Effective anti-reflection coatings on the lens surfaces and matte-blackened internal surfaces ensure outstanding contrast and suppression of internal reflections. Each eyepiece is individually serial-numbered.
